So I have become one of those lame people who sit in starbucks on their laptops. It is unfortunately one of the few places to get a proper cappuccino in this city. I love my cappuccinos. So any who I'm currently mulling over lists for the tournament coming up at the end of March. Right now I'm working on my IG list, It is a 1000pt list for the 40k tournament. It will be using the hall of heros scenarios, which are new to me, and look pretty cool with the secondary objectives. As of right now I have a Hellhound, Basilisk, and a stock leman russ for fast attack and heavy support. Two squads with autocannons, one with a heavy bolter, and a stormtrooper squad for troops. Then both my hq choices are more cc orientated, one with 3 flamers and a HSO with a power weapon. The other with 4 grenade launchers with a JO with Honorifica Imperialis and a power fist. I currently have a vox network in place, but i am not sure if i need it. The only unit that will be any considerable distance from my command squad will be the stormtroopers, and they are LD8. I'm gonna have to play test with and without the vox. Seeing if the added 1 leadership, and the ability to maybe move my other squads a bit further away is worth it.
How i plan on using this list, I'm thinking the JO with the powerfist will be anti monstrous creature, hitting it with hopefully 2 out of 4 krak grenades then assaulting. While the HSO will flame and kill, or just tie up anything that gets near to my squads. The stormtroopers will move forward with the hellhound supporting them acting as mobile cover as needed. The three squads will focus fire at whatever could use its numbers thinned. The Leman Russ, and Basilisk will blow whatever is bad for my troops to bits before it gets near. Hopefully this will play out well. I will just have to think around losses as they happen. My tanks tend to vanish early on.
I have only recently thought of using my command squads in such ways recently. After having great success with my HSO taking out a squad of jet-bikes and finishing off some striking scorpions last game with Carl. The HSO's amazing stat line for a guardsmen has come to light. The Hellhound has always been a great success. The basilisk has also seemed to do well, strength 9 ap3 is always nice, even it it scatters a bit off target. The leman russ dose ok if it lives past turn one or two. If anything it gets stunned allot, but with front armor 14 it can take the hits. It may not kill allot but its good at drawing fire. I might want to take more heavy bolters, but I'm not sure what ill be facing and the autocannons can take light tanks, and deal with heavier infantry. The one less shot is a slight sacrifice when fighting horde armies, for more versatility. I dare not touche lascannons for i have only ever hit with one twice. I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with those things.
I'll have a vid of the army or something like that up later. Hopefully I will get more post/videos up. I have some time between classes tuesdays and thursdays, I will most likely write something.

MMMM noodles
Tuesday morning breakfast noodles and Jones orange and cram soda. Yesterday Carl and I had a fantasy game. I used the new lizardmen codex for the first time, and i like it. The new giant blowpipes on the ancient stegadon are win. 2D6 poisoned shots, one round of shooting from my stegadon took out half a unit of goblins. Everything I shot with it ended up getting decimated. I might end up using two or 3 stegadons in one game now. I also used Tetto'eko, I like him. His cosmic event being 3+ on 2D6 is pretty much guaranteed. I ended up with a few irresistible force casts because of it. A video might go up soon who knows? Right now i am regretting putting my heavy weapons teams on the bases tho. Hurray for tuesdays!

Hello Thar! Umm videos coming yeah. Why have they not been put up? Well simply because I am getting two, thats right two armies for a tournament end of march. 2000 points of lizardmen, with their new tasty army book, and 1800 points of Imperial Guard. Unfortunately the tournament is the weekend before the new codex is out. So i was thinking we lack content what can i do? ah ha! Daily or so updates on the progress I'm making. So i will be making a post everyday, every second or third day it will
be a video that goes up showing stuff. I leave you with a picture of a leman russ i finished last week.

Lazy guide to painting Saurus warriors.
Here is a guide for quick and easy painting of saurus warriors. There not meant to look omg your gonna get laid amazing.(In fact doing an amazing job painting anything warhammer probably has a negative effect on your ability to get laid.) lets start!
These are the paints and brushes I will be using in this guide.
First of all undercoat the model with chaos black, or whatever black you use. The black undercoat helps hide mistakes, or lack of detail. Then coat the body with Ultramarines blue.(Any darker green or purple, red whatever you want to use will work)
Now we drybrush! Heavily drybrush all over with ice blue, or the colour of your choice. Once your done this if you choose you can go over it with a wash. I went over mine with the Asurmen blue Citadel wash. I just like the way it looks after its been gone over with the wash. If you like it with out it you don't have to do it.
Next is the face. Put some red or yellow on the eye, and fill in the mouth with black. Don't worry if you get some on the surrounding areas that will get fixed in the next step.
Now go around the edges of the mouth and eye with ice blue, or the lighter colour you are using. Also do the nose and chin areas. The highlights on the face are simple to do, and make the model look better overall. It also improves the look of the regiment. If you don't wanna add detail to all of the models faces just do the front row. This will create the illusion that all of the models are painted this well when on the tabletop. This also goes for any extra highlighting on the body, or weapons as well. Next is the teeth and the bony thing at the back of the jaw. Paint the teeth with your favorite white or off-white. I use bleached bone, it gives the teeth a slightly yellowed effect. I like this because lizardmen probably don't have the best oral hygiene.
Some shining gold on the jewlery on the body of the saurus, and bleached bone on the claws on the feet and the body is done.
Now the weapon. Paint the raised areas with shining gold. Then the teeth with fortress grey. You can use any grey you want, thats just what i had on hand. You can also go over the gold with some chestnut ink. this gives it a slightly older looking effect.
Base coat the shield with black as well, then go over the scales with red gore.
Paint the gold on the shield. I then go over the scales with red ink. This makes them glossy, a look i like. It's also easier then trying to highlight the scales.
Glue the shield on and your done!

Not dead!
Both me and Carl have not died in some unfortunate squid jigging accident. We have just been busy with life, me school and work, Carl with ummm stuff he dose, like play WoW. But with reduced hours at my job I now have time to get stuff done, and there is allot to do. Piles of videos in the to get edited, and tons of other stuff I've had planned. Carl has stuff to do to! He just needs less wow playing. The new Lizardmen codex is out soon, I have been working on getting my stuff painted for its release. Look for a how to paint saurus warriors easily and quickly tutorial soon. Also Twitter! I have made a twitter account, i'll have posts about my warhammer happenings. Plus maybe other random stuff. Just look up Fronzibald on twitter.com . February will see i big increase in our activity! Hopefully, if there isn't an actual squid jigging accident.
