Yes, that is right. CarlEldar here saying that in the case of Warhammer, smaller is greater then bigger!
In the latest video that Fronzibald and I have made we show a 500pt game of Imperial Guard VS Eldar. From this experience, I find that smaller point games are more interesting to play. Like instead of having a 1500pt-2000pt game where you just have masses of units that barrage your opponent (Or course depending on what army you play). Playing a smaller point game forces you to think more about unit placement and tactics. It might be the fact that we are both new to this game, and for me I forget things a good amount so managing large army's is a bit of a pain. But none-the-less. Behold! Our new installment of the Uber Waaagh video line-up!
500pt Eldar VS Imperial Guard (Part 1)
500pt Eldar VS Imperial Guard (Part 2)
When I actually get off my ass and stop being so lethargic, I will post some video's of my own. As I said in a previous post. Possible a video showing how to make some Orc/Ork (Depending on fantasy or 40K), or some Eldar terrian. But regardless, be sure to keep checking the (newly named) Uber Waaagh Blog and Youtube updates. I think I have mentioned before, but my Youtube username is CarlEldar.
The video line up in the future is, a review of Black Reach, the game played from the contents in the box un-tampered. A 800pt Eldar VS Space Marine game (With a twist ending!) and lot's of more interesting watching experiences!
I'm out!

Orcs vs Lizardmen part 2
Here is is the final part of our Orcs vs Lizardmen battle. Due to lack of foresight part 2 is about 3 minutes long. I should of made it two more even halves, but yeah it's done atleast! So here is the conclusion of the battle!
Future updates!
Hello fellow Warhammer...ers?
Like Fronzibald said, we have a lot of good updates coming on our blog! We played a 500pt Eldar VS Imperial Guard game that should be posted soon, and the end of the Fantasy game also should be posted soon, and I will probably get around to finally posting my Eldar Army List tomorrow or the day after. Next weekend we also will be buying Assault on Black Reach, we will be video taping the opening, assemble and play of the game. Possible (this just came to mind) we may also play a tutorial of the game and post it, like explaining as we play the game. As it is said in the rule book, the best way to learn the game is have a friend show it to you, or go to Games Workshop and have them show you a demo game. If we post a video it might be easier for some people, better then going all the way to Games Workshop just to see how it is played.
In addition to these video's. If I have the time (and I do since I quit Wal-Mart) I will probably post a painting tutorial of Grimgore Ironhide and I might be making some Orc terrain. I just have to get off my couch and go buy some pink insulating foam for construction. I would have video's already up, but I lost my Camera at PAX. (I think I mentioned that int he PAX post...)
So in my opinion, this site is really starting to heat up. We got a lot of new content coming along, a new blog in the making with our own domain name and everything. If there was ever a good time to favorite this site and check up on our content, now is the time!
After all...
There is no time for peace.
No respite.
No forgiveness.
There is only WAR.

Orcs vs Lizardmen
Here is our first recorded game of Warhammer Fantasy. Carls Orc and Goblin army versus my Lizardmen. Will Da Green Tide overwhelm or will the Servants of the Old Ones quell the land of the Greenskin plague? Watch to find out!
Upcoming things! a 500pt game of IG vs Eldar. We also have a review of Assault on Black Reach coming up. From the opening of the box, assembly and a game played with it. I'm also slowly getting a blog completely managed by us with our own domain. But with work and school it is coming along slow. One day it will be up tho!

Finally part 2!
So i have finally finished part two of our second 40k game. I know its been a long time. I have been busy with work, going to pax, I'm currently working on getting a blog engine running. Plus all sorts of other stuff, like fantasizing over getting one of these babies. I also have a fantasy video I got to put up, it counteracts my lazyness. Here is the video! look for some fntasy in the next few days.
All Hail Ball!
If any of you had the chance to see our... very stupid, but awesome drunken video you will notice we promised you video's of PAX. But due to Fronzibald being lazy and not wanting to carry around his Video Camera along with his normal Camera, he did not take any video's of PAX, nor many photo's for that matter...
But thankfully I did, but unfortunately on my way to PAX I lost my Camera somewhere, so all the photo's and the one video I took is of pretty bad quality, but they are photo's of this grand occasion still.
Let me first start off by explaining what PAX is, for those of you who live in a box.
PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) is a expo, or convention if you choose to use that term that the creators of Penny Arcade hold in Seattle, WA every year August 29 to August 31. Three days of complete, nerdy awesomeness. Everything from how to work in the Video Game industry to Game Demo to Table Top Games.
This was the first year I went to (and heard of) PAX, Fronzibald went to PAX 2007 and said that it was awesome, so I decided to go along. Since we live in Alberta, Canada, the flight down there was not that expensive, and the hotel we stayed at was at discount because of PAX. The whole trip probably cost me about $1000 CAN. Mostly because I did not book my flight early enough. But it was worth it.
This is the view from the Hotel we were staying at. We were paying around $170 USD a night, normally around $250 USD. So it is a pretty high class place.
So, Fronzibald and I got to the Hotel around 10:30AM the first day of PAX. We unloaded our stuff and preceded to head down to the Convention Center, which was across the street of our hotel. We got in and got our 3-day passes and headed into the "Line Room", a room specifically placed there for the amazing amount of people going to PAX, or which ever convention they hold there. This will give you a idea on how many people were there.
This is after everyone got up because the line started moving. I think they said that around 100,000 people came to PAX this year. That is almost double how many came last year. If you can see many people have there heads down due to the fact that they are playing a DS or PSP. Which is awesome in my opinion. Fronzibald and I were going to bring our DS's, but we ended up not bringing them. According to this guy I was talking too, Pictochat was full of people, and most of them were posting penis's. I would of got in on that action if I could, lol. Fronzibald and I waiting in the line for two hours I think. Completely worth it though.
After we got in we headed to the Exhibition Hall. That held at least 35 stands, like Blizzard, Capcom, etc. All showing off there new games. I got a picture of the beginning area, but since it was a Cell Phone picture like the others it is not that good. But here it is!
There was so much too do and see. We ended up just walking around for a bit and headed back out. On the way out I got to meet MC Frontalot. He is THE best Nerdcore Hip-Hop artist out there. You can download a few of his tracks here on the PAX website. Just scroll down and you can see the different artists that attended PAX. I got a T-Shirt, a SIGNED poster (Drawn by Gabe from Penny Arcade) and two of his CD's, again signed.
After talking to MC Frontalot, and going to a bunch of the Panels that was offered. We headed to the free concert that was offered on the first two of the three nights. All the Bands were pretty awesome, some more then others, but that is a given.
This is a picture of when the One Up's were playing. A awesome band that plays video game music!
If memory serves me correctly, Freezepop was next. I think the genre they play is called Synth Pop. probably most well known for the song Less Talk More Rock in Guitar Hero 2. At one point Freezepop played this one slow song that I don't remember, but everyone started holding up there Cell Phones, DS's and I even saw a few Laptops, lol.
When Freezepop finished they played The Final Countdown, originally played my Europe. Everyone went crazy! Everyone was singing along with the chorus and it was awesome!
After that Jonathan Coulton went on stage, the crowd went wild. At one point he did his song RE: Eat your Brains. He asked the crowd to act like zombies and throw up there hands and moan like a zombie.
He also played a song he made called Mr. Fancypants, but he said that the song was only like a minuet long, so he bought a Zen Drum to mix up the song a bit to make it longer.
It was awesome, he was called back twice for a encore. Personally I liked Freezepop and MC Frontalot... and The One Up's better then him, but I'm not into the style of music too much. But regardless it was awesome. That was basically the first night for the concerts. The next night included MC Frontalot, Minibosses, The Hills are Thickets... or something (Crappy in my opinion). MC Frontalot was by far the best I think. His performance was amazing. You can probably search him up on YouTube for his performance at PAX 2007, or 2008. He runs around the stage and raps and his arms are always moving and flaying. It was awesome. I didn't take any pictures though because my Cell had died of batteries.
Another band that played was Anamanaguchi, they play music over 8-bit sounds. It sounded pretty sweet at the time, but it was hard to hear the whole song because the 8-Bit sounds were not loud enough. Once I got home I listened to them on the PAX website, and they are awesome. I'm going to get there CD when it comes out. I think they said there first CD is going to be free to download.
Fronzibald and I also visited the table top section of PAX and Watched some apocalypse 40K battles, not for long though. We also played D&D for a while, it was pretty damn sweet. We plan to play it more often if we get a group going.
Other than that, it was a awesome time in Seattle. In conclusion, I can't wait for the next PAX! And... All Hail Ball! (With a horrible Cell Phone video!)

Second game of 40k!
Here is our latest video. We recorded another game of 40k. We belive we ave masterd the rules of 40k better. We still do make some mistakes but its a large improvement from our last game. The larger table also made this game go much better. Watch and see us still scrub it up but slightly less than our last game! Our armies have not progressed in painting at all either, as both of us are slow painters. The second video and army list are coming tomorrow!
Tour of the Warhammer Zone
I decided to give you a short tour of the area I live in and play warhammer in. Its fairly unexciting but its a video!
There it is in all its glory.

New videos? Hell yes!
Well if anyone has noticed (Or if anyone cares) we have not posted a new video on quite a while. This is for a number of reasons. Both me and LJ work full time, and since we work at the same place they seems to like to give us different days off. Also LJ seems to be too lazy to edit the new video we made of our second Warhammer 40K battle. Damn you LJ!!!!
Anyways, I have decided to post some video's of me playing old school NES games. I got Fraps and am going to get a Microphone that works with Fraps (Apparently USB microphones don't).
If anyone has seen Cloud8745's video's of Youtube, that is the style that I am going to go with. I know it is not the most original thing to do, but meh, it works.
So I have a few games that I am going to play through. Also remember that they are not walkthroughs, you could use them for that but this will probably be my first time playing most of these games. So it's just going to be playing them and most likely swearing in frustration a bit.
The list so far is:
Thrilla Safari
Monster Party
Aliens 3 (lol)
Duck Tales
Ghost's and Goblins
Little Nemo: The Dream Master
River City Ransom
Contra
I am going to add more to the list in the future, but I think for now this is good enough for me. If I dedicate alot of time to this I'm sure I could possible get through some of these games in one day, but I work and have to do other stuff and whatnot.
I would also like to add that I am going to use save states. Nothing is more frustrating then getting halfway through a game and running out of lives. So I am going to save state at the beginning of every level.
If anyone has any suggestions on what NES, or possible any other system (Excluding 3D games because they are hard to find online) I should play, let me know by either posting a comment here or contacting me on Youtube (My account is CarlEldar)
-CarlEldar
P.S. In addition to these new video's I'm going to be posting I might post some video's on my half-ass beatboxing skills, tactics for my Warhammer Fantasy and 40K army's and other random stuff. So keep watching!

Pictures!
Here are some pictures of a select few of our units. Notice the amature painting and the overuse of dry brushing by me. I loves to dry brush. Bright flash and large size make mistakes alot more noticeable. :(
Carl's Orcs
Spider Riders
A Kroxigor of mine
Saurus Warriors
My only painted Stormtrooper
And thats all the half decent pictures i have. More should be coming soon. Also Waffles

Random Evangelion quotes!
For some reason I found the urge to search up my usual Username for everything on the internet, till LJ/I came up with CarlEldar.
So I proceeded to search up "DemonHost" I found a bunch of half written blogs and stuff that I have posted in my youth. Lots of the sites were filled with a variety of quotes from Neon Genesis Evangelion, that was the first anime I watched (Not including Dragonball Z :P) I still rate it as the best anime I have watched up too date. Even though I have watch quite a few with LJ since then, I still like Evangelion the best.
(My old signature on forms xD)
Anyways, I thought I would say one of the quotes that sums up how much of a mind fuck the series can be at times. This is taken from one of the last episodes, I don't think it contains any spoilers, mostly because it is so hard to understand!
"Mountains. Heavy are the mountains but that changes with the passage of time. Sky. Blue sky. What your eyes can't see. What your eyes can see. The sun. One, only one. Water. It is agreeable. Commander Ikari. Flowers. So many the same, so many without purpose. Sky. Sky red. Red the color, the color I hate. The liquid flows. It drips, ripples and pours. Blood. Scent of blood of a woman who does not bleed. From the red soil the humans come. The humans made by man and woman. City. A human creation. EVA. A human creation as well. What are humans? Are they creations of God? Humans are that which is created by humans. This is that which is mine. My life. My heart. I'm a vessel for my thoughts. The entry plug. The throne of the soul. Who is this? This is me. Who am I? What am I? What am I? What am I? I am I. This object that is, is myself. That which forms is me. This is the self that can be seen and yet this in not like that which is myself. Strange feeling. My body feels as if it is melting. I can no longer see myself: my form, my shape, it fades from view. Awareness dawns of someone who is not me. Who is here, there, beyond me here? Shinji? This person I know, Major Katsuragi. Dr Akagi. People. My classmates. The pilot of Unit 2. Commander Ikari? Who are you? Who are you? Who are you?"
I believe this to be Shinji Ikari in his own mind, if you watch the whole series this does make some sense, but I need to re-watch it to make sense of it again.
Another good quote from Evangelion is:
"Who am I? What am I?
I am I.
This object that is myself, that which forms what is me. This is the self that can be seen and yet it is not like that which is myself."
This is Shinji again I think, a good example on how much Philosophical questions are raised in the series.
If any of you like anime, you should really give this one a try. A good site with reviews can be found here: http://www.anime-source.com/banzai/modules.php?name=Anime&rop=showcontent&id=91
I might post a review of my own some day, but I'm too lazy now.
So there we go, this is my 12:35AM half-baked post about Evangelion, Woo!
Soon to come: More randomness and Warhammer!

Aviatars!
Since I work a crappy job (Collecting carts at Wal-mart), I like to spice it up.
I wear these everyday along with LJ, we add some style to the capitalist scum that we work for!
Some of you may be asking, why the odd look on my face? Honestly I have no clue. Atleast it looks more interesting then a plain face, or a smile in my opinion. Plus taking a picture of yourself and smiling while showing off Aviatars seems lame to me.
This will give you the idea of the randomness to come in this Blog. A good rule is, if it in not Warhammer related, you can assume it is going to be random stuff like this!
-CarlEldar
Also, excuse the more-then-normal curly-ness of my hair, I got out of the shower like 20 minuets ago.

I will be posting picture of my painted stuff from this list soon, possible tonight because LJ and I are going to battle it out, Warhammer Style! (You know... like the weapon... but ALSO the game?... Get it?)
Video of our first game.
Here are the videos of our first game. Watch and be amazed at how bad it is, see rules be ignored. Our table is to small for the game we played as you can see from our packed deployment zones. Neither of our armies are panted as well. But it was fun and good practice as to how to make videos. I hope you can derive some sort of entertainment from them.

Hello
Hi I'm Lobster Johnson friend to CarlEldar. He got me into warhammer a few months ago by taking me to the local games workshop one day. I came out with a Lizardmen army(I love everything about lizardmen) and have been expanding it ever since. Since then they have clashed against his orcs and goblins many times, with mixed results. As Carl Stated with 5th edition of 40k we have turned our attention to it and started new armies. I started a tank heavy Imperial Guard army. Carl has himself a Eldar army. The first battle between these two armies was recored on video and will be up soon for your viewing pleasure.
We are excited and enjoying making this blog. Expect allot more posts and videos from us to come.

Introduction
Welcome to the CarlEldar featuring Lobster Johnson Blog!
First of all, I guess an introduction is in order.
I'm CarlEldar. My brother got me into Warhammer 40K about 2 years ago. I started a Chaos Space Marine: Khorn Berserker Army. But since me and my brother didn't play that much I never really got off the ground.
About 4-5 months ago I hooked my friend(Lobster Johnson) into Warhammer Fantasy. Since then we have been playing and building Army's quite a bit. We get together usually once a week to battle it out and watch some prime anime. We started collecting Warhammer 40K also, the first game we played (which was a bit confusing with some rule difficulties) was pretty rocky, but good none the less. We video taped turn summaries for us to review our tactics at a later date and for the general entertainment of those who choose to watch it. (Hopefully you!)
The video of our battle is going to be posted at a later date, once we have to edited it and whatnot. I have to stress the fact that this is out first video and we realized some of the thing we could of done so it was easier for the general public to follow the battle. Also, for those of you who watch it too the end there is a special treat... But not really special at all. It's the Beatboxing styles of Mc CarlEldar (Mc added for special effect).
So I think that qualifies as a introduction post. In the future we plan to have Warhammer Fantasy Video's, more Warhammer 40K video's, possibly some more Beatboxing styles of me (Depending on if I feel like it). On top of that anything else we feel like posting about. Possibly good anime's to watch, reviews of anime's, random Youtube video's, anything that get's mine or LJ's (Lobster Johnson) attention.
